Round 30 is now in the rearview mirror, and it’s officially time for the weirdest span of matches in MLS Fantasy! Round 31 begins on a Tuesday, ends on a Wednesday, features two teams on double-duty, and has 14 teams on bye – all during the October international break!
With a mere 52 hours between the final whistle on Sunday and the opening whistle on Tuesday, we’ve got very little time to
Lastly, as we told our good friends over at @MLSInjuryNews on Twitter, RBNY’s Kemar Lawrence will not be with the team, despite not being marked on International Duty on the MLS Fantasy game. This brings up a larger point: for Round 31, if you are selecting players who are potential candidates for an international callup, do a quick Google to search for a roster announcement from the international team in question. This will ensure you don’t accidentally include someone on your lineup that won’t be playing this round
That being said, here’s what our roster looks like this week!
GK - Tim Melia, SKC
DEF - Leandro Gonzalez Pirez, ATL
DEF - Ike Opara, SKC
DEF - Aaron Long, RBNY
DEF - Yoshimar Yotun, ORL Switcheroo Plug
MID - Yamil Asad, ATL
MID - Ilie Sanchez, SKC
MID - Ibson Barreto da Silva, MNU
MID - Daniel Royer, RBNY
MID - Tyler Adams, RBNY
FWD - Hector Villalba, ATL

We're going with a fun differential lineup this week in the hopes of closing the distance and jumping back into the top 1000 for the first time since the disastrous hiking incident in Round 25 cost us at least 130 points. We've overloaded our lineup with quite a few high-upside players like Veron, Royer, Adams, and Villalba in a high-stakes parley-style play, while balancing them out with high-floor players like Melia, Opara, Ibson and Sanchez. It's a make-or-break week for RBNY - if they rise to the occasion and blow out Vancouver, this fantasy team should perform quite admirably.
