Looking at our first matchup, we turn to DC United taking on Portland and New England in a solid DGW. Coming off of a hat trick this past weekend, Luciano Acosta (9.0m) is naturally our first choice from DC this weekend. He has been revitalized with the addition of Wayne Rooney to the lineup, and Lucho should be a very popular captain pick this weekend. Elsewhere in the DC midfield, we have Zoltan Steiber (8.7m) and Yamil Asad (10.1m), who are intriguing selections for managers looking to double up on United midfielders. Steiber should provide a solid bonus point floor, while Asad is a high-upside selection - managers looking for either category would do well to include them in their lineups.
Defensively, Bill Hamid (6.0m) is slated to start on Wednesday and is pretty much the top goalkeeper option this round given the matchups. Steve Birnbaum (5.3m) should also offer a solid bonus point floor from the center-back position, with a decent chance at a clean sheet himself.
LAFC (vs. Real Salt Lake vs. Colorado)
FiveThirtyEight: 57% chance to win vs RSL | 64% chance to win vs COL

LAFC plays two home games this week, which could see them break out of their recent slump. Carlos Vela (10.3m) got a bit of a break this weekend, which means he should see significant minutes this round. Even if he manages just 120 minutes, we're expecting him to provide double-digit returns this round. Additionally, if you're willing to double up on LAFC forwards, Diego Rossi (8.3m) offers incredible potential at a very strong price point.
Benny Feilhaber (9.5m) is probably the strongest fantasy midfielder this round, given his deeper role and likelihood of 150 or so minutes this week. However, Andre Horta (8.0m) could be a fun switcheroo pick off the bench if he's able to make things happen with limited minutes. Meanwhile, defensively, Laurent Ciman (6.8m) is your best pick for the back line.
