2015-16 Fantasy Preview - Leicester City F.C.

Leicester City's first season back in the Premier League was a tale of two seasons. For the majority of the season, Leicester languished on the bottom of the table - September 27th until March 21st, the team won a total of 2 matches and scored only 17 goals over a 24-match span. However, as soon as the calendar switched to April, Leicester caught fire for their final 9 matches, winning 7 and the only loss coming to Chelsea. This incredible final run resulted in L.C.F.C avoiding relegation and, more importantly (for us, anyway), won championships for those fantasy managers who rode this hot streak through the end of the fantasy season. The Foxes look to keep the momentum going for the upcoming season but must do so without Nigel Pearson, who was released as manager following an off-season scandal during a team goodwill tour in Thailand. To further complicate Leicester's woes, popular veteran midfielder Esteban Cambiasso declined to renew his contract earlier this week despite the pleas from new manager Claudio Ranieri.

Manager: Claudio Ranieri

2014-15 Finish: 14th (41 points, 11-19-8 record)

2015-16 Fantasy Preview - Newcastle United F.C.

The Magpies of Newcastle United F.C. look to rebound from a dismal 2014-15 campaign which included the departure of long-time manager Alan Pardew, a run of eight straight losses late in the season and a narrow escape from relegation. Newcastle have brought on former England manager Steve McClaren to reinvigorate a Newcastle team that has traditionally preferred an open, attacking style of play. Given McClaren's preference for offensive soccer, his appointment could be exactly what the doctor ordered for both club supporters and fantasy managers.

Nickname: The Magpies

Manager: Steve McClaren

2014-15 Finish: 15th (38 points, 10-19-9 record)

2015-16 Fantasy Preview - Watford F.C.

If someone were to tell me that a team which had four different managers during the course of a season was able to earn a promotion, my first instinct would be to ask that person if they were having a go at me. Yet that is exactly what Watford F.C. was able to do during their 2014-15 Football League Championship campaign; despite having having three separate managerial changes in the first three months of the season, the Hornets and their fourth manager (Slaviša Jokanović) were able to right the ship and win 19 of their final 27 matches, earning a place in the Premier League for the first time since the 2006-2007 season. Almost immediately after being promoted, however, Watford found itself in a familiar position as the team was unable to come to terms with Jokanović regarding a new contract and once again found itself without a manager. Spaniard Quique Flores is now at the helm and looks to install his 4-2-3-1 with a team that has seen over a dozen moves in the current transfer window.

Manager: Quique Flores

2014-15 Finish: 2nd Place, Football League Championship (promoted)
